FAQ'S

  • How long will the photo session last? Typically the session will last between one hour and one and 1/2 hours. Each animal is different. We'll need travel time should we choose to shoot in a park, etc. I'll also need to setup. And, we'll need time for the photo session.
  • What can I do? You may be asked to help keep your pet's attention or to guide/move him around.
  • How should I prepare? You'll want your pet looking her best! Therefore, you may want to have her groomed a day-or-so before our photo shoot.
  • What should I wear? Pastels and denim work well. I'd try to avoid clothing with logos or writing. Also, patterns generally do not work well. Today is your pet's day. We want him/her to be the one who stands out.
  • What about treats? A treat for a job-well-done is always a great reward! And, I'll let you take care of that department. You know better than I your pet's dietary needs and allergies. I wouldn't want to send her to the vet. That would be a bummer for all of us.
  • How about toys? Oh, for sure! A favorite toy will help her stay focused on what we're doing because a favorite toy helps make for good photo opportunities.
  • What if I have some ideas? Ideas are more than welcome! You may want a portrait of him in a certain outfit. Or, you may prefer a shoot in the park.
  • Will I need to fill out a model release? A model release is a form I request. It allows me to use the pictures on my website.
  • Do we really need to meet before the photo shoot? No, it's not a necessity. But, I do prefer us to do so. During the pre-shoot meeting, your pet and I can get to know each other. We can take care of the photo session you'll want. And, we'll settle the retainer fee.
  • How long will the entire process take? It should take no more than three weeks from the time we agree to first meet. We'll have the pre-consult meeting. Hopefully, a few days later we'll be meeting for the shoot. A few days after that, you'll view the images online and make your choice(s). We'll meet one last time after the prints are made and/or framed.
  • Should I keep her on a leash? Outside, that's a definite yes! We wouldn't want anything to happen to her. I will be able, in most cases, to remove the leash in post-production.
  • Will I need to pay the entire amount today?  No, not today. All I require is 1/2 of the initial agreed-upon package. I accept Visa, Master Card, Paypal, and checks. (Note: there is a $50 charge for returned checks.)
